Philadelphia. Over the past 26 years, I have been deeply involved in the creative and performing arts, with a rich history in national commercials, films, and numerous domestic and international stage shows. This varied background has significantly enhanced my ability to offer a unique perspective in my consulting endeavors.
I consider myself a professional unicorn, integrating my passion for the arts with my robust grant management and business coaching expertise. I am dedicated to facilitating the success of my clients and have managed over $6 million in funding from federal, state, municipal, and congressional sources for higher education institutions, arts organizations, and community initiatives.
My diverse experience includes grant administration and compliance at City Colleges of Chicago and active participation in continuous training for the City of PhiladelPhiladelphia'slion Anti-Violence Targeted Community Investment Grant through the Office of Public Safety.
I am currently working in the education sector and hold two Master's degrees: one in Education and another in urban studies. Additionally, I obtained two Bachelor's degrees in Communication and African American Studies from Temple University. I possess a Certificate in Performing Arts Ritual, encompassing Dance, Directing, and Drama, in addition to several teaching certificates.
I have focused on utilizing arts education and designing curricula to assist and elevate marginalized populations throughout my career. I have been able to instruct and develop educational programs in the United States, Europe, and over eleven nations in Western and Southern Africa.
As a grant writer, I am enthusiastic about aiding schools, nonprofits, and organizations to obtain over $1.2 million for their programs, expansions, and new buildings. I am committed to positively influencing our community and am passionate about supporting startups, organizations, and enterprises that want to expand and prosper.
