I have been immersed in the arts for over 24 years and am proud to call Philadelphia my home. With experience in global film and stage productions and national advertisements, I bring a unique perspective to my consulting work.
By merging my love for the arts with my expertise in business coaching and grant management, I provide comprehensive proposal development services, including support before and after an award has been granted. My dedication to my client's success is evident in my experience managing over $6.7 million in federal, state, and congressional funding for arts organizations, city programs, and higher education institutions (with a focus on healthcare and technology), including healthcare management.
I have worked with Philadelphia's Office of Public Safety and their anti-violence targeted community investment Grant to provide training on grant management and compliance.
Education is at the heart of my work. Erica holds a double master's in Education (EdTech) and urban Planning and development and a double bachelor's in Communication-Theater and African American studies from Temple University. In addition to my teaching credentials, I hold a Certificate in Performing Arts Ritual (Dance/Directing/Drama).
Through arts education and curriculum creation, I have supported and empowered underserved communities. I have also taught and designed educational experiences in the US and Europe, as well as in more than a dozen nations in Southern and Western Africa.
As a grant proposal writer, I have secured over $2.6 million in funding for various projects, including programming, expansion, and new buildings for schools, NGOs, and other organizations. I am deeply passionate about assisting new organizations, whether for-profit or charity, in achieving their goals.
In my free time, I strive to positively influence my community as a wife, mother, and woman of faith.
